I stumbled on Kat by accident – traveling to Cincinnati from Texas. I made an appointment and was SO pleased I turned around and made another for the next week. Finally! A true artist! I recently took my young teenager to see Kat with the high hopes of getting an actual style for his wavy thick hard to tame mane. I had high expectations, and even those were exceeded. Kat is so very talented and couldn’t have been nicer.
She taught him the hows and whys regarding his hair and he was very happy with his look and now feels like he can and wants to keep up his style. I saw a new found confidence in him when he walked out the door. First thing he said to me was “can we come back here?” I think that says it all. Thank you Kat!

Brant was my stylist today for my first visit to this salon. I was greeted warmly and the space was very clean, trendy & inviting! He was very thorough during my hair assessment and I trusted his vision. He was very sweet and gregarious and kept the convo going. My hair looks great! I love the balyage and cut he gave me and I will definitely be a repeat customer ????

KAT was absolutely incredible from beginning to end! She answered my call and got me in the exact same day! I was hesitant about driving and parking downtown but her very detailed text with directions also provided suggestions where the best places to park were which was a huge stress relief. The condition my hair was in at the time was awful. I could not even get a comb through it when wet without a ton of conditioner and still would end up with wads of hair on the comb. This did not even phase her…she recommended a pick and turning it if got into a snag. After combing through all my hair, she did not even have one strand left on the pick! All throughout my appointment, she continued to give me pointers and advice from the lay of my hair to best way to take care of it. She was also very easy and fun to talk to about anything and everything! Furthermore, toward the end of it, she realized that I was going to run out of time on my meter and went out and put more quarters in it!!! I went in with straggly, frizzy hair and feel like I came out with full bouncy curls and products to keep it that way. THANKS SO MUCH for ALL your knowledge, time, care, and expertise KAT!! I will definitely be back!!

I came here for Japanese Hair Straightening and was very impressed. My hair is straight and smooth now. Kat was amazing, taking time to explain every single step and offering helpful pieces of hair care advice as well. I’ll definitely come back here if I need anything else related to my hair!

Kat suggested her last green Epi/Silk hair remover to help minimize my facial peach fuzz and for other shaving areas. After 1 use all I can say is where has this been my whole life? It may not exactly “tickle” but the results are amazing and I only used it once!! I highly recommend the Epi/Silk!

If you want to be entertained and at the same time get your hair cut, styled, high lighted, etc. . .you need to see Kat. I would never try another hair stylist and have heard this from every customer of hers I know! Check her out-the place is on 4th Street-tons of available parking, it’s clean, and very fun.

And i am 100% satisfied here’s why
When I called kat’s salon I left a voicemail and she called back the same day
I told her that I had terrible hair that just went everywhere and would not stay straight to save my life
And with my hair down to my chin
Well it just looked terrible
And what I wanted was a look as close as possible to a Daryl Dixon (walking dead) (normen reedus) look
So she said she could pull that off
And after she used a relaxer on my hair and darkened it
It looked amazingly the same as Daryl dixons hair
It was perfect and after 2 days it still looks the same even after riding in the back of a truck for 30 miles
I will never go anywhere else but kat’s to get this done to my hair

I leave Kat’s salon feeling and looking great. I make a special effort to drive 30 minutes to get my hair cut because I trust Kat will always do a fantastic job.

This is the only salon I have ever recommended! My color & hi-lites are always perfect and I love that Kat never keeps my husband or I waiting. My friends comment on how great my hair still looks even after I take off my hat. Yeah! No more hat hair!
